A Little About Me…

Hi my name is Marcienne and I prefer to be called anything but Marcie, I just don’t love that particular shortened option.  Bu yes, I will answer to it…with a scowl.  Nooooooooooo;)

I was born in Illinois, raised in Florida.  I come from a small town and am the second youngest of 12 children, yep number 11.  My family means the absolute world to me and I have to admit that I am a bit of a strange bird.  I would describe myself as very observant, quiet and sometimes shy at first but incredibly goofy and unpredictable when you get to know me, also undeniably awkward with a dash of dry wit.  Each of us kids all had a couple “things” if you will, what we were known for within the family.  One of mine was storytelling with the most unexpected of events.  My father would always say  ”Marcienne, you walk into the store to simply buy a carton of milk and you come out with the most entertaining story to tell.”

Instead of being in school plays and being incredibly outgoing as a child, I kept my desire for acting a secret.   Weird, I know. My creative outlet growing up was dancing; I danced ballet, point, modern, tap and jazz for 10yrs.  Growing up I always knew I wanted to live in LA and always knew I wanted to act and sing.  I just wasn’t sure how I would get here, but it happened and here I am:)

I have been lucky enough to have  the opportunity to live in this amazing city and follow my passion in life through TV, Film, and Music.  I would love the opportunity to create with you and look forward to meeting you if I haven’t already.
